What Are June Holidays Trying to Tell Us?

May 23, 2013

The writing’s on the wall: At least the folks at Schrapper’s Fine Cabinetry in Jupiter, Florida think it is. Consider the following holidays and observances and you may begin to think so, too!

Drawing Day or Pencil Day: First Saturday in June.
This observance is about spreading the joy of drawing. You are encouraged to forget about everything, grab hold of a pencil and create. There is nothing the designers at Schrapper’s like more than to sit down with a client who is itching to change their kitchen design or bathroom design. Drafting a design for the perfect room for a customer is what they live for. And Schrapper’s customers have all discovered that the design team never worries about using the eraser until the most perfect room has been designed to their taste.

National Leave the Office Early Day: June 3rd
You might be wondering what this holiday is all about and how it relates to Schrapper’s design team. The truth of the matter is, when you have a comfortable and organized home to return to at the end of a long workday, National Leave the Office Early Day makes absolute sense. On the other hand, if you linger at work more than is necessary; maybe this is a wake up call that it’s time to sit down with Schrapper’s design team on Drawing Day!

Carpenter Ant Awareness Week: June 23-29
Unlike termites, carpenter ants do not consume what they destroy. They also have a preference for damp wood. These relentless insects have hollowed out entire bases of trees and black carpenter ants in large infestations have infiltrated homes.

Your home is your castle. For this reason we draw your attention to this week to avoid the hassle of carpenter ants. They may not eat you out of house and home, but they can eat your home. The professionals at Schrapper’s Fine Cabinetry and Design encourage you to perform regular inspections of your home’s wood structure.
